Billy Cart Derby
Our popular annual family event held in Term 3 each year sees more than 250 locals attend with students of all ages competing in the derby with their home-made billy carts! Registration is now open.
Races are run for both young and old with highly competitive teams vying for medals and prizes donated by generous local sponsors. If you would like to Sponsor this event please contact the school.
In 2025 we are combining with the Townsville Seventh-day Adventist Churches and bringing the Townsville AutoFun Fest.
The Market and Food stalls will be bigger this year with a range of health and wellness food and information stalls as well as a range of other food and drink option. There will be activities for the younger children, a car display and a 1923 Citroen on site.

Billy Cart Derby
Race Catagory Registration starts at 9:30am and the first Race starts at 10:30am. There will be an 30 minute lunch break about 12:15 after the time trials finish.

Cyclones Rod and Customs Club
This year we are excited to have local car club Cyclones Rod and Customs Club display their cars.
1923 Citroen - Bubsie
We will celebrate the special Centennial Anniversary visit (1925-2025) of the first car to circumnavigate Australia as part of our event.
The Centennial Anniversary Tour is called "Right Around Australia" and the 1923 Citroen called Bubsie will be on site. See link for a promo video:
